Alto. A 16-year-old girl who runs away from home and finds herself trapped on a magical train full of people who will not stop running. Isabel hopes that one day she will understand why she can't look in the mirror.

Tenor. A 16-year-old boy with an charming inability to stay out of other peoples’ business. He can't quite handle meeting a girl who won't let him carry her baggage, but the girl claims to know her own name... So Jess plays along.

I like to write music, play video games, watch weird movies, and read tarot, but I also always want to talk about trauma and what it means to heal. B.A. at Sarah Lawrence College. His favorite quote by the Porter is, “It’s always the parents.”

Soprano. A 36-year-old woman, worried and ashamed that her daughter ran away from home. She is terrified of having the difficult discussions that could secure her return.

Sierra Boudoin can be found on the stage, in the sky, or trying to learn the choreography from Beyoncè’s performance at Coachella. Acting at St. Edward’s University. Her favorite quote by Liza is, “I can’t make it better, but I can help you make it through.”

Alto. The composer of the one song that the choir is allowed to sing (over and over and over again). Though Faith is perceived as voiceless and thought to be dead, Isabel proves this impression to be incorrect.

Anna Westbrook is a professional communicator who spends most of her free time explaining analogies she thought off while in the shower or on a walk. B.A. Music Composition, Connecticut College. Her favorite quote by the Writer is, “Healing... It can happen. It can happen to you. You are not alone.”

Speaking Role Only. As the charismatic leader of both the Runaway Train and the Choir that is trapped on it, the Conductor is determined to maintain both ignorance and bliss among his passengers.

Fernando Velez can be found listening to “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac at least once a day. B.A. Sociology at UT Austin. His favorite quote by the Conductor is, “You’re still worried about sanity? We passed that stop a long time ago, son.”

Soprano. A young person in their teens, trapped on the train. As one of the first people to follow Isabel in doubting the Conductor, Choir Member 1 suffers deeply before finding their voice.

Emily Ownby loves to laugh and make others laugh, and will never say “no” to a Twix candy bar. BFA Musical Theatre, Manhattanville College. Her favorite quote by Choir Member 1 is, “Can it be that I can learn something? Can it be that I am free?”

When not on stage, Emma can be seen teaching dance or working as a local party princess; she owes her heart to Shakespeare, animal rights activism, and a good cup of tea.
