Student Leadership Levels
College (+ rising freshmen)
High School (rising 9th - 12th graders)
Middle School (rising sixth graders - 8th graders)
*If your school does not use the above grade divisions, please include clarification in your application materials.
Student Commitment Levels: 5- 10 hrs / wk
Summer: 8- 10 weeks; June 7th start date
Fall: 12 - 15 weeks; Sept 13th start date
Spring: 12 - 15 weeks; Feb 7th start date

Other Requirements
History as a student leader / student programmer.
Some level of content production skills, i.e Social media, graphic design, videography, creative writing, technical writing.
Background in student theatre (cast, crew, production, marketing, etc.)
Perks / Internship Take - Aways
Build your resume and prepare yourself for a communications, marketing, or arts career.
Gain the confidence / skill set to have crucial conversations about social justice and mental health that can affect all areas of life.
Practice identifying and fighting systemic injustice.
Experience the behind the scenes process for creating meaningful content and building a community around that content.
Develop copywriting, marketing, public speaking, and other professional communication experiences which increase job preparedness.
FREE access to all relevant Isabel products / programs.
Student Rep Interns Responsibilities:
Contribute to the ideation / production of video content about social justice / mental health / student leadership
Recruit students leaders eager to join the Isabel community through our album, certification, curriculum, production guide.
Co-manage an intersectional advocacy resource guide to help normalize conversations around mental health and social justice.
Performance Track:
Act / Speak in video content provided by Reimagine Normal
Speak at online events (in person post COVID)
Writing Track:
Research & Write “How To” blog posts / social media content about social justice, mental health and student leadership.
Contribute to curriculum for Isabel student programming.
Design Track:
Evaluate / advise on the design of Isabel programs and products.
Lead design based activities for Isabel community members.
Required: Attend 80% of online weekly mentorship meetings + additional meetings / events upon request.
